Assistance Available for Unclaimed Property
Join me and representatives from the Pennsylvania Treasury at one of two upcoming Unclaimed Property Events for assistance with claiming unclaimed property.
More than one in 10 Pennsylvanians has unclaimed property. Unclaimed property can include old bank accounts, uncashed paychecks, insurance payments, rebates and more. The bottom line is that it is money owed to you.
Residents are invited to attend either of the following events for assistance with claiming unclaimed property:

Pizza and Policy Scheduled for June 11

Join Sen. David G. Argall and me for Pizza and Policy: A Conversation with Your Legislators on Thursday, June 11, from 5-6 p.m. at the Girardville Borough Office, 201 N. Fourth St., Girardville.
Residents of the 123rd District are invited to an informal discussion on state and local issues affecting our communities. Grab a bite to eat and take part in a conversation about what matters most to you. This is an opportunity to share feedback, ask questions, and hear updates on state government and services.

Free Document Shredding Event Set for June 12

Protect yourself from identity theft by safely disposing of sensitive documents at our free document shredding event.
I am partnering with Sen. David G. Argall to host this community event on Friday, June 12, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fairlane Village Mall in Pottsville.
Documents will be shredded on-site. Please note there is a limit of three bags or boxes per vehicle.
Items for shredding should be paper-based only. No three-ring binders, plastic, binder clips, or similar materials will be accepted.
When: Friday, June 12, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: Fairlane Village Mall parking lot, 389 Pottsville St., Pottsville, PA

Electronics Recycling Day Coming June 20
Do you have old electronics collecting dust at home?
Sen. Dave Argall, Rep. Jamie Barton and I will host an electronics recycling event at Schuylkill Haven High School on Saturday, June 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for residents looking to safely dispose of unwanted electronics.
A variety of items will be accepted. Note that a fee will apply for larger items to cover recycling costs.
